A silky gem that’s taking part in the Met’s Spring 2012 Costume Institute exhibition celebrating Italian designers Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations presents famed fashions alongside videos of imitated conversations between the two women as directed by Baz Luhrmann. Surely a must-see for anyone passing through Manhattan!

This beautiful, unpretentious shot of Gwyneth Paltrow is taken from one of my favourite fashion stories of hers, for her cover editorial from W Magazine’s December 1998 issue. I love the casual charm of this shot and her genuine smile. I believe that she’s wearing Michael Kors here, I’ll check the magazine to see. Either way its one of my favourite images of her because it features the world-famous actress shown in a more natural light. Kudos to Michael and Joe Zee for their stellar work here.
